BuyUK Peptides is a trading name of Oxford Research Syndicate Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17207898, with its registered office at 131a Movers Lane, Barking, London IG11 7UQ. The company supplies research-grade peptides to laboratories, institutions and independent researchers in the United Kingdom, for in-vitro use only. We do not supply medicines, and nothing we sell is for human or veterinary use.
The rule
We started the company because the UK research-peptide market runs on claims. "99 % purity", "third-party tested", "certificate available on request". Our rule is that no batch is listed until its independent certificate is in the public register, and that the figures on the product page are the figures on that report. It costs more and it is slower. It is also the only honest way to sell a chemical.
How a batch reaches the shop
Every lot follows the same four steps, and none is skipped for a small batch or a busy week.
- Sampled. Vials are drawn from each new lot as it arrives and sent for testing before any are offered for sale.
- Tested independently. An independent laboratory measures purity by reversed-phase HPLC and confirms identity by LC-MS; net peptide content and endotoxin are measured where the compound warrants it. The methods and acceptance criteria are set out in our testing methods.
- Published. The signed report goes into the certificate register under the batch number printed on the vial label, with its figures transcribed beside it.
- Released. Only then can that size be added to a basket. A size with no released batch shows as unavailable rather than being sold on the strength of an older report.
When a lot sells out it is marked as withdrawn, but its certificate stays in the register, so a vial bought months ago can still be checked against its own report.
What we supply
The catalogue covers research peptides across the main compound classes, including fragments, incretin and amylin analogues, growth-hormone secretagogues, copper and melanocortin peptides, neuropeptides and mitochondrial peptides, together with the consumables a laboratory needs alongside them, such as bacteriostatic water. Each compound has a monograph describing its structure, stability and the primary literature, with references.
Products are supplied as lyophilised powder in sealed vials, in the sizes listed on each product page. We supply buyers aged 18 and over, and every order is placed on the basis that the material is for in-vitro research. We do not give advice on dosing or on any use in people or animals, and we will not answer questions that ask for it.
Ordering and dispatch
Orders are dispatched from London. Orders paid before 3pm Monday to Saturday leave the same day by Royal Mail Tracked 24, free of charge, in plain outer packaging with nothing on the outside to indicate the contents. A tracking number is emailed when the parcel is handed to Royal Mail, and the batch number of every vial is printed on its label and on the dispatch note. Payment is taken by card or cryptocurrency on secure hosted pages; no card details are entered on or stored by this site.
